Survey Peak
3-Day Pack Trip

DAY 1
Our pack trip begins from the barn at Teton Ridge Ranch on the north end of Teton Valley, Idaho. Once we meet and get organized we will drive to South Boone Creek trailhead. This trail gradually climbs along Boone Creek eventually offering lovely views of Survey Peak. The horses love this private little meadow with its lush grasses. (Riding time: Approx 3 1/2 - 4 hours).

DAY 2

Take your pick of day rides. Climb high to the saddle below Forellen Peak in Teton National Park and look down into Owl Canyon, or ride along Berry Creek to the shores of Jackson Lake if you like, or for a mellower day venture to the top of Survey Peak for enormous mountain views.

DAY 3

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast around the campfire before we pack up for our ride home. While riding the ridge below Survey we’ll look down into the headwaters of South Boone from a cliffy little trail. This trail offers spectacular views of Conant Basin and Hominy Peak before we make our way off the mountain to the trail head.
